Recording Day 1

Today Hercules is recording our 7" that still does not have a name. We got to Suitcase Recordings here in Omaha around 12:30 today. We all ate some lunch and Danny set up his drums. There were some technical difficulties with a microphone cord that delayed us by a few hours. Finally started tracking drums at around 4:30pm. After drums got going they went pretty smooth. It's now 6:30pm and Aaron is in the isolation room getting ready to lay down his bass tracks. Then I'll go last and put down my two guitar tracks and we'll call it a night probably around 10-11 I'm sure. I'm hoping we can catch a late showing of Youth In Revolt at that new theater at Midtown Crossing. Tomorrow we're doing vocals and mixing all day and will wrap up late tomorrow night.

Today has been spent on the internet, drinking Cherry Dr. Pepper, reading assorted copies of Maxim and Rolling Stone, eating too many spicy sweet chili doritos dipped in salsa con queso, dancing, partaking in the herb for some of us, watching true life and jamming tunes. I've been taking a fair amount of pictures and I will post those up for the 7 people who read this sometime tomorrow if I can find the proper cord to do so.
